Our apartment is situated in the charming town of Tavira, on the south-east coast of Portugal. Ideally situated for a relaxing break by the coast or as a base for exploring southern Portugal and the Algarve. As we are close to the Portuguese - Spanish border, day trips to Seville are also a possibility.

ACCOMMODATION AND FACILITIES

The apartment is part of a purpose-designed complex built in the 1990s. There is sleeping capacity for 6 people. This includes two bedrooms and a sofabed in the large lounge/diner. The apartment is fully equipped with cooking utensils, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher etc.

The apartment also has a balcony and terrace for enjoying the sun.

The complex includes two swimming pools, gym, jacuzzi and steam room, tennis courts and bar restaurant - all facilities which are available to guests. A children's play area and plentiful parking are also added benefits to the site.

The Tavira Garden complex is only 45 minutes from Faro Airport.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND GETTING AROUND

Tavira is a coastal town and is conveniently located on the Eastern Algarve of Portugal. The town is 35km from Faro and Faro Airport (45 minutes by car) and 35km from the Spanish border. It is 260km, a 2-3 hour drive from Lisbon International Airport in central Portugal.Ê

Buses
There is a bus station in Tavira for local villages and Faro, Lisbon or Seville in Spain.

Trains

There is a train station in Tavira and from here you can travel East to Vila Real on the border with Spain and West towards Faro. From Faro you can travel on to the Western Algarve and Lisbon.

Taxis

Taxis are available in the center of Tavira and the airport.
